Class C Underground Storage Tank (UST) Operator Training

Class C operators are trained to be the first responders in any emergency situation at a facility with a UST. A trained Class C operator must be onsite at all times when a Class A/B operator is not present. Often, facilities will choose to train all retail salespersons or clerks as Class C operators, both to ensure a trained operator is onsite at all times and to provide the strongest training for all employees in the case of an emergency.
